I'm Marian Hsieh, a student and aspiring artist! I've been trained in traditional mediums like oil painting since elementary, but am learning to pick up digital mediums as well. My dream is to use art as a way to give a voice to those who have similar experiences to me but are afraid to speak up.

Hi, I am Jacob Fast an alumni at UCSD. I am a lot of things.

Ian is a student at UC San Diego double-majoring in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution and Education Studies. With a deep-rooted passion for native pollinator conservation, Ian blends science and art to inspire awareness and action. Their recent visual piece is a depiction of the native bumblebee, Bombus californicus, crafted from pressed flowers. As an active member of the Pollinator Club, Ian works to educate the campus and broader community, advocate for pesticide reduction, and expand native plant habitats. I'm a third year Cognitive Behavioural Neuroscience major in Sixth! I was previously a designer for Issue #2 of this zine in Spring 2025, so I figured it would be nice to contribute back :] I typically make fan art but revisited an old personal piece for the zine.
